Welcome to lil's travel site for the May 2007 road trip!
I left on this trip with absolutely no plan for where I would
go and how long I would be gone - I didn't want to be stuck to any kind of a schedule. Any time someone asked where I was
going, I'd tell them I didn't know - every morning I just got up and started driving, and wherever I ended up was where I
spent the night. I didn't expect to be in Fort Steele at all, but had to stop there so I'd be sure to have a signal for my
phone. Other places I thought I'd visit, I never made it to. It was glorious! And while I was gone longer than I'd thought
I could afford, I actually came back a day earlier than I'd planned to when I woke up that morning. It's an excellent
way to travel.
And I saw the Westcoast Amusements trucks again!!!
You'll have to excuse the photos - I'm still
getting used to my new camera. The lighting was bad and I can't figure out how to get good mountains with a digital camera,
so they're far from being perfect. But I did see lots of interesting things and, for whatever they're worth, here they be.
